During my undergraduate years, I observed a reality where many of our girls view a diploma as an inseparable part of their dowry, as if obtaining a degree and then getting married puts them “one goal ahead.” Alongside this, the fact that women often have less say at home compared to men, and sometimes none at all, as well as women not investing enough in their own personal development and lacking financial independence, motivated me to start this project.
Being involved in production, supporting local manufacturing, and introducing and promoting local products in international markets are very important to me. I have structured my current work precisely around this direction.
The lack of trust from people around me toward my project sometimes discouraged me, but it did not stop me. Today, we collaborate with major book retail chains operating in our country, and this has shown me that obstacles will always exist. What truly matters is directing all your attention and focus toward your goal.
